Remove the unpleasant odors in the kitchen

Freshly squeezed lemon juice removes unpleasant odors and is a great natural air freshener. If the channel in the kitchen sink emits unpleasant smell, pour the juice of one lemon inside and wait 20 minutes before running the water. Usually even if you have a grate during the washing in the sink falling food into small pieces and begins to rot. The lemon juice will dissolve these particles, leaving only a fresh scent. In situations like this take half a lemon and rub the panels, plates, burners of the cooker – wherever there is a need – and leave it for 10 minutes. Then it will be much easier to clean the surfaces and containers.

If you need to clean the fingerprint from the window or stain from the mirror, do not reach for the preparation for glass. Squeeze a few drops of lemon juice on a clean dry cloth and wipe the surface – contamination disappears without residue.

 

Easily remove the limestone from the vessels

With the help of a lemon you can clear a pot or other vessel, the bottom of which is covered with limestone and the ordinary detergent can’t do anything about it. Dissolve the juice of half a lemon in two cups of water and pour the mixture into the pot. Leave the solution on for 15-ish minutes, then put the pan on the stove and heat until it boils. Remove from the heat and while the liquid is still warm (not hot) scrub with steel wool or a stiff brush.

 

Cleaning the tub till shine

In some buildings the pipes are old and with the time below the taps are formed unpleasant reddish spots. If you have this problem with the tub or sink in the bathroom do not reach immediately to the bleach. Instead take half a lemon and jar of salt. Spray generously the surface of the tub with salt and then rub using half a lemon instead sponge. Then rinse the remaining. After this wonderful scrub the bathroom will shine as new.
