THE MATTRESS

Did you know that in your mattress live about 2 million dust mites? Although not visible to the naked eye, they are inside and can cause these popular in the modern world allergies. Use a vacuum cleaner on the mattress and wash bedding at a temperature no lower than 60 degrees. The high temperature of the air in the bedroom is not recommended – it favors the development of mites. Sleep with the window open or at least ventilate the room each morning.

 

BAKING SODA

Are you sensitive to the cleaning chemicals? Replace harmful products with ordinary baking soda. It cleans impeccably stainless steel, sinks and tubs. Even helps to eliminate odors in the shoes.

You can reduce the odors in the refrigerator by placing a small amount of baking soda to one of the shelves. For better effect you can stir from time to time.

 

THE CUTTING BOARD

Every modern kitchen should have two cutting boards – one for vegetables and one for meat. Regularly clean them with hot soapy water and then rinse with boiling water. If a strong odor remaining on board (from garlic or onion), you can remove it with a little fresh lemon juice.

 

TABLETS FOR CLEANING OF DENTAL PROSTHESES

For spotless toilet you can tablets for cleaning dentures. It is very simple – just drop a few tablets in it, wait 20 minutes and rinse. To remove the accumulated scale in your favorite kettle, dissolve a few tablets inside it in the evening. In the morning you will notice that the scale has become a little grit, so you can wipe it with paper. At the end just rinse well.

 

ITEMS MADE OF PORCELAIN

The porcelain surfaces in the bathroom and the kitchen can be cleaned with a damp cloth and detergent for dishwashing or antibacterial cleaning spray. Avoid strong abrasive detergents for scale, because they destroy the top layer of porcelain. If you want to enjoy a spotless sink, clean it with baking powder.

 

STAINS FROM FELT-TIP PEN

Felt-pen stains can be removed most easily if they are fresh. First soak the ink immediately with a dry cloth. If the stain is on a rug or other similar surface, treat with soaked in a denatured alcohol cotton swab. When the colors begin to

fade, wipe it with a dry cloth and then rinse with cold water.

 

THE LEATHER FURNITURE

To keep the leather furniture in good condition for longer time is needed to clean it with a vacuum cleaner and then wipe it with a damp cloth. For more thorough cleaning, use a special soap for leather upholstery. It is very important to remove the remainders; otherwise the dirt will stick to the leather again. Always read the cleaning instructions from the manufacturer!

 

THE WASHING MACHINE

Take care properly for the washing machine and it will serve you for a long time. To avoid possible flooding, make sure that the filter is always clean. Regularly remove the accumulated lint from the clothes inside it and also the accidentally trapped coins and other trifles. Occasionally run the empty machine without detergent thereby the water cleans all traces of washing powder.
