The cleaning of the the dishwasher is not difficult if you follow the steps described below. Before you start cleaning, read the manual for your dishwasher to see how to disassemble filters and fins that spray water. In most modern dishwashers you will not need any tools for dismantling, but check before you start. Before you begin, prepare the following ingredients and cleaning materials: white vinegar, sponge, dishwashing liquid, soft towels – cotton or microfiber, brush for vessels and household gloves. We do not recommend using strong disinfectants to clean the inside of the dishwasher. They contain toxic substances and despite the rinse can remain residues of them and then fall on your dishes. Here’s how to clean the dishwasher in 8 simple steps:

1. Remove all detachable parts of the dishwasher – the shelves grate at the bottom and cutlery basket and wash them in the sink with detergent for washing dishes and hot water.

2. Clean the fins for the water injection. Remove them and wash it over the sink with dish soap and sponge.

3. Disassemble the filter at the bottom of the dishwasher and clean it thoroughly with a sponge or brush for dishes and dish soap under the running water. The filters typically collect most dirt and it’s the most unpleasant part of the procedure – use gloves.

4. Once the filter and all moving parts are removed, clean the inside of the whole dish with a sponge, washing-up liquid and warm water.

5. Clean all rubber parts and the door gasket with a solution of warm water and vinegar in a ratio of 1: 1.

6. Assemble the filter and put it in place, together with all parts of the the dishwasher that you removed.

7. Clean the dishwasher outside. If the walls and the cover are plastic you can use warm soapy water. If the dishwasher is made of stainless steel, you can clear the external walls with a solution of water and vinegar. Dry thoroughly with a clean dry cloth.

8. At the bottom of the dishwasher pour coffee cup vinegar and run it empty cycle. The vinegar kills bacteria and prevents appearance of mold in the machine. Then leave the door open until interior is completely dry.

Voila – the dishwasher is cleaned!
