Do not wash the velvet by yourself, this will be a huge mistake. For perfect results give it to a dry cleaning. In order not to harm the hairs, the silk velvet should be ironed only with steam iron and the cotton – only in the reverse side and by using a special stand.

In order to preserve the shine and gloss of the satin garments, you must wash it by hand in lukewarm water. Luster will intensify if you add a little vinegar in the water. Satin clothes must be ironed only through damp cloth.

If you find a stain on your dress with sequins, gently rinse them in cold water and immediately give it to the dry cleaners.

The delicate lace will not be damaged if you wash it by hand. If directions on the label allow a machine washining then you can drop the garment in the washing machine. But remember to put it in a specially tailored for this purpose cotton case. How to iron the lace clothes? If you want to keep it for a long time, surely through a damp cloth.

Knitted fabrics also want special care. You can wash it in the washing machine, if it is indicated on the label, but certainly in a special case. Unless specified, then you do nothing else but to borrow a hand washing. The ironing is done certainly through a cotton cloth with a hot iron.
